COMMENT: Nanosilver challenge illustrates urgency of safety research

The court challenge by the US Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), to the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) decision to allow HeiQ to market nanosilver before toxicological tests are complete, is the first serious attempt by an environmental body to put the brakes on the rollout of textile nanotechnology.
