Ball Tearer, an Australian workwear apparel company, has adopted Invista’s Cordura brand fabric for its BT Denum work jeans range.
Invista noted that the Cordura denim fabric not only offers comfort and enhanced functionality but are designed to withstand tough working conditions.
Additional benefits of Cordura denim fabric include the authentic look and feel of traditional 100% cotton denim; abrasion resistance – four times more resistant to abrasion than standard 100% cotton denim fabric – based on Martindale comparison testing; and the heritage of the brand, which has proven performance in the world’s toughest environments.
Cindy McNaull, global Cordura brand and marketing director, said: “Workers rely on garments that offer long-lasting and high-performing durability.
“As a part of our apparel collection, Cordura denim fabric has the look and feel of regular cotton denim, but provides exceptional strength and durability, which is ideal for the rigors of the workwear industry.”
According to Invista, the BT Denum Work Jeans have been designed with a relaxed ‘classic’ fit, the jeans also come in more than 20 sizes and provide generous legroom for flexibility and ease of movement. Wide belt loops and an additional utility loop at the rear of the jeans add to the jean’s functionality.
Mike Honeybell, director of Ball Tearer group property, said: “We developed these jeans with our customers in mind, especially those who are in mining and construction fields throughout Australia.
“They depend on fabrics that can withstand tough conditions. Denim and cotton drill workwear have always been a popular fabric for Aussie workers, and we look forward to receiving their feedback on this jean. BT Denum Work Jeans with Cordura denim fabric have been added to our range as a new hard working, durable jean, ready to endure the rugged Australian conditions.”
