International show promises latest in workwear
Texcare International, the world’s leading trade fair for textile care, will show the latest developments in workwear, in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, from May 5-9.
Exhibitors from the textile and apparel industry, as well as the accessories and the finishing sectors, will present the latest trends in functional and professional workwear. Organisers Messe Frankfurt say workwear and protective clothing have for many years been influenced by street-wear, sportswear and important fashion trends.
Technical developments include membrane technologies and materials such as soft-shell fabrics, antimicrobial shirts and underwear, and – especially in environments such as restaurants, where staff must be mobile – elastic fabrics to ensure full freedom of movement. Jeans will also be represented at the show.
